Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Olga Souler (“I”, “me”, “the Site”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit https://olgassoul.com or book an online counselling session. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who is responsible
The Site is operated by Olga Souler (sole proprietor / ФОП Tkachuk Olha), a mental health counsellor providing online sessions.
Contact for privacy requests: olgassouler@gmail.com. You may also message via Telegram: https://t.me/olgasouler.
2. What this Policy covers
This Policy covers personal data processed through the website, booking tools, and related communications. It does not replace professional confidentiality for counselling sessions themselves: session content is treated as confidential professional information and is not used for advertising or website analytics.
3. Information I collect
Depending on how you use the Site, I may process:
- Contact and booking details you provide (for example name, email address, phone number, preferred time, and any notes you leave when booking).
- Messages you send via Telegram, email, or other channels you choose to contact me on.
- Technical and usage data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate location (city/country level), referral source, and timestamps.
- Cookie and similar technology identifiers used for site language preference, analytics, and advertising measurement (see Sections 6–7).
- Payment-related information only as needed to confirm a session fee; card details are processed by the payment provider you use, not stored on this Site.
4. How I use information
I use personal data to:
- Schedule, confirm, remind about, and deliver counselling sessions.
- Respond to enquiries and manage the client relationship.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
- Measure traffic and understand how visitors use the Site (Google Analytics).
- Measure and improve advertising performance, including Google Ads, where such tools are enabled.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect my rights.
I do not sell your personal data. I do not use the content of counselling sessions for marketing, advertising targeting, or analytics products.
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, I process data based on: performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract (booking and sessions); legitimate interests (site security, basic analytics, business administration); consent (non-essential cookies/advertising where required); and legal obligation where applicable.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies:
Essential / functional: for example a locale preference cookie so the Site remembers your language.
Analytics: Google Analytics to understand visits and usage. Google may set cookies and process technical data on my behalf.
Advertising / measurement: if Google Ads or related Google tags are active, cookies and identifiers may be used to measure conversions, limit how often ads are shown, and (where permitted) support remarketing. Advertising cookies are not essential to use the Site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect booking widgets or language preference. Where required by law, non-essential cookies will only run after consent.
7. Google Analytics and Google Ads
I use Google Analytics to collect aggregated statistics about Site use. Google may process data on servers outside your country. Learn more: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
When Google Ads is used, Google may process cookies and identifiers to measure ad performance and conversions related to visits and bookings on this Site. You can manage Google ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com and opt out of interest-based ads via https://www.aboutads.info/choices (or equivalent tools in your region).
Google Analytics and Google Ads do not receive the content of therapy sessions.
8. Calendly (booking)
Session booking is handled through Calendly (embedded popup / link to calendly.com). When you book, you submit information directly to Calendly. Calendly processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy: https://calendly.com/privacy.
I receive booking details needed to run the session (such as name, contact details, time, and any information you enter). Please do not include sensitive health details in public booking notes if you prefer to share them only during the session.
9. Telegram, Instagram, and other channels
If you contact me or follow channels on Telegram or Instagram, those platforms process your data under their own policies. I only use the messages and profile information you share with me to respond and manage sessions.
10. Sharing with service providers
I share personal data only with processors and tools needed to run the service, for example:
- Calendly — scheduling.
- Google (Analytics / Ads) — analytics and advertising measurement.
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Messaging platforms you choose to use (e.g. Telegram).
- Professional or legal advisors when strictly necessary.
Providers act on instructions or their own independent policies as disclosed above. I do not share client session content with advertising partners.
11. International transfers
Some providers (including Google and Calendly) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses) or your consent / necessity to provide the requested service.
12. Retention
Booking and contact data are kept for as long as needed to provide sessions, handle follow-up, and meet accounting or legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to the settings configured in Google Analytics. Locale cookies typically last up to one year.
13. Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords on your email and messaging accounts and avoid sending highly sensitive information over unsecured channels when possible.
14. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights related to data I control, email olgassouler@gmail.com. For data held only by Calendly, Google, Telegram, or Instagram, you may also need to use those services’ own tools.
15. Children
The Site and counselling services are intended for adults (18+). I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 through this Site. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact me and I will delete it where appropriate.
16. Changes
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when I do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
